Choosing Safe Toys for the Holidays

Even before the yuletide season comes around, most toy manufacturers are clamouring to get their new products on store shelves. For a lot of parents or caregivers, playthings for the tiny tots at home are almost always on top of the holiday shopping list. Having said thus, it is especially important to select toys that are both safe and age appropriate.

Choose items that are proper for the child’s age bracket and skill level. When unsure of what to get, never hesitate to ask the salesperson for assistance. Make a habit of reading labels carefully. Never assume that a bright toddler can safely handle something that is designed for someone much older.
